FanFueled Spotlight: The Fan Freedom Project

25 Feb

Here at FanFueled, we believe that the real force behind a successful event – the fans – should be rewarded. That’s why we built our ticketing, sharing, and social software with the fan in mind. And though sometimes it can feel like we’re the only guys in the industry with the fans’ backs, it’s great to spot initiatives like the Fan Freedom Project. This is a brand new group that is working to preserve and protect the rights of live event fans by “challenging those who control the lucrative event ticketing market.”

They also recognize that the best way to mobilize fans is to educate them and that’s why they have a ton of information on industry news, fan rights, and what’s happening to fix the biz’s problems. We encourage all readers of the FanFueled Blog to check out their site at fanfreedom.org and sign up for their newsletter. The concert industry has a long way to go before it can be deemed “fixed,” but you can rest assured that FanFueled and initiatives like the Fan Freedom Project are working tirelessly to get it there.
