Great, New Video on the ‘Future of Marketing’

22 Feb
Check out this fantastic, short video on “The Future of Marketing.” It’s from the guys over at PHD, an innovative global media and communications agency. It’s a 2 minute clip that features a handful of 10-16 year olds detailing what they expect from advertisers and sellers as the next generation of consumers. It packs a powerful punch and basically serves as a wake-up call for any marketer that thinks old-school practices and methodology will work on the next wave of buyers.

There is one message in particular that stuck out to us. Around the 1.28 mark, one kid mentions that they’ll expect to be rewarded for their “browsing, purchasing, and buying data.” One child actually says that their role as “influencers” will “make them pretty rich.” The FanFueled team loves hearing statements like this, because our business model is built around rewarding users for sharing (or influencing). When you spread the word, we’ll share the wealth. Hear that kids?
