FanFueled Spotlight: Judy Collins at The Bitter End in NYC

15 Dec

If you’ll be in New York City on December 22nd, be sure to check out the SongCircle Showcase featuring legendary singer, songwriter Judy Collins. Showtime’s at 8PM at The Bitter End (147 Bleeker St.) and you can purchase tickets NOW on FanFueled.com. Be sure to tell your friends about this event and earn cash rewards simply for spreading the word!

And why wouldn’t you – Collins is a folk music icon, with a career spanning 50 years, 40 albums, and countless Top 10 hits. Renowned for her activism and socially relevant material, Collins will be performing music from her latest album, Paradise. Collins, recognized as one of the “finest interpretive singers in any genre,” offers up brand new renditions of archetypal songs on Paradise, including Tom Paxton’s “Last Thing on My Mind” and Joan Baez’s “Diamonds and Rust.” Her “intimate arrangements and vocals” breathe new life into these classics and were made to be heard live. Other great artists from the Wildflower label will be performing, including Walter Parks, Sonya Kitchel, and Sadie Jemmet. Don’t miss this great event!

(Not going to be in New York next week? No worries. SongCircle, an artist-centric music community, is putting on another awesome event on January 4th at Schuba’s in Chicago. Check out the event here for more information).
